This song is a family favorite. I was so lucky growing up in the marshland of South Carolina and have endless wonderful memories with my brother, sister, cousins, and parents.
One of the very first songs I ever wrote was about my little girl, McKayla. I know she would be so excited that we published this album and I so wish she was here to share these moments and her voice with me still. Not a day goes by that I don't think of her and miss her. CeCi put together this video for me today, without me knowing, and it made me laugh and cry all through the 4 minutes and 45 seconds. Daddy loves you always TayTay. Thank you very much CeCi, even though my other daughter is gone, you have brought back some of that love in my heart that I didn't think was possible and even though she can't ever be replaced having you here makes life just a little easier and a little brighter.
